About This Game

The Neverending Goodbye is a fictional party exit game. You have your coat, your leftovers, and every intention of leaving. Four small decisions can turn the doorway into a committee meeting, a stage, or the next party venue.

How It Works

Choose one answer on each of four screens, then optionally add a nickname and press See My Exit. Your most frequent kind of choice selects the ending; ties go to the tied choice you picked most recently. The encore meter totals the four ordered choices into a fictional score from 0 to 100. It does not predict how long you take to leave.

What Your Result Includes

Your ending includes a departure status, a callback to your last doorway decision, and a comic closing line. Download Square or Story cards, copy the result, or use supported sharing. Nicknames appear on cards and in copied results; native share text uses only the ending and departure status.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this an etiquette or personality test?

No. This is an invented comedy game, not advice, a validated test, or a judgment of your social skills.

Does the game need my party details?

No. There are no uploads, contacts, invitations, or account connections. Choices and the optional nickname are processed locally in your browser and are never sent to Analytics.

Can I change an answer?

Yes. Use Back to revisit a question. Your previous choice stays marked, and you can choose a different answer before generating the ending.

Why did I get this ending?

Each choice votes for one of four endings. The most votes wins, with the latest tied choice breaking a tie. The same four answers always produce the same ending and encore meter.
